Jailbreak iOS 6.0 - 6.1.2

The initial iOS 6.0 was released September 19, 2012, under the name Sundance. 6.0.1 was available on November 1, 2012 and this was a Bug Fixes release. 6.0.2 was available on December 18, 2012 and this was a Bug Fixes release. 6.1 was available on January 28, 2013, under the name Brighton and this was a Feature Update release. 6.1.1 was available on February 11, 2013 and this was a Bug Fixes release. 6.1.2 was available on February 19, 2013 and this was a Bug Fixes release.

Requirements:

#1. PC with Windows/Mac

The current method using evasi0n software is available for Windows or Mac operating systems.

#2. iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1.0, 6.1.1 or 6.1.2

This method is only available for iOS 6.0.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1.0, 6.1.1, or iOS 6.1.2. As a result please make sure that your device runs one of these versions: Go from the phone’s Menu to Settings -> General -> About -> Version ->

#3. Battery level has to be more than 70%

Notes:

Before applying the Jailbreak the device we recommend to:
- Disable the Anti-virus/firewall applications
In order to make sure that the Jailbreaking will not be interrupted
- Create a backup of your data
You can create a backup using iCloud / iTunes. This way, if something goes wrong, you will be able to restore all personal information.

STEPS:

1. Disable the Passcode
From the iPhone’s menu go to Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock

2. Disable Find my iPhone
From the iPhone’s menu go to Settings -> iCloud -> Find my iPhone
ATTENTION! You will need to Sign in on your iCloud account > Disable “Find my iPhone” and then Sign out from your iCloud account

3. tThe iPhone has to be placed into Airplane mode
You must turn on the Airplane mode or you might not be able to successfully complete the Jailbreak process.

4. Download the latest version of evasi0n software
You can download it from HERE iOS 6 Jailbreak.

5. Connect the device to the Windows or Mac computer
Using the USB Cable please connect the iPhone to PC/Laptop

6. Run the evasi0n software
Right click on the evasi0n.exe file and Run it as Administrator (only for Windows users)

7. The evasi0n Jailbreak software will detect the iPhone
Select the “Jailbreak” button after the evasi0n software will detect your iPhone.

8. Open the evasi0n app from the device
At the middle of the process you will be asked to open the evasi0n app installed on the device. Please do it. Then your device will reboot after finishing the Jailbreaking process. Now you should find the Cydia icon on your Home screen.

9. Select the Cydia app
From the phone's menu select the Cydia app and wait until the prerequisites files will be installed.

Now you have successfully managed to Jailbreak the device!
